Michelle has spent her career in Financial Services creating expertise across the payments industry including ecommerce product development, digital, retail/commercial payments and cash management; policy, project planning and delivery, operations and technology support as well as institutional sales and service. Michelle is currently leading RBC’s Payments Modernization and ecommerce innovations working with external industry partners, networks and payment regulators. She is currently a member of the Interac e-Transfer Advisory Committee and is the Co-Chair of the Payments Canada RTR Management Committee in addition to other industry leadership groups. Michelle was the Vice Chair of the Canadian SWIFT User Group (2010-2012); represented RBC on the Canadian Payments Association (CPA) Large Value Payment User Group (2006-2012); and represented Canada on the SWIFT Payment Market Practice advisory committee (2011-2012).
Michelle has a Bachelor’s of Arts (Hons) from the University of Toronto and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario. In her free time, she volunteers as a reading/literacy tutor in under served areas in Toronto.
